Earn points on every purchase!  Our Exchange Points program is designed to maximize your reward opportunities.

• 1 Dollar = 1 Exchange Point

Redeeming points is easy.  Exchange Points are redeemable for gift certificates good for any purchase in the shop.

• 250 Exchange Points = $25 Bradford Mercantile Gift Certificate
• For every 250 points your name will be entered into the Year’s End Drawing
• From time to time, the shopkeeper may allow special uses for your points.  These will be posted on the web site and in the shop.

Points are accumulated on regularly priced merchandise and exclude tax.  Exchange Points are not transferable.  Exchange Points do not expire.  Special sales and events may be eligible for points on non-regularly priced merchandise.  Such events will be advertised via e-mail, on the web site, and in the store.  The purchase of gift certificates are eligible for points.  Redeemed gift certificates are not eligible for points.  Entries into the Year’s End Drawing do not affect or diminish point accrual for redeeming of gift certificate’s etc.

The referral list: Each of your friends* that makes a purchase and joins the Mercantile Exchange is listed on your “Exchange Card”.  This list is then used to track your rewards.

• 20% off coupon: For every 5 friends on your referral list, you will receive a 20% off coupon good for all regularly priced merchandise.**
• Top Referral Award: This yearly award is given to the top two customers that have referred the most friends.  The winners receive a gift certificate worth $10 for each friend they referred that year.***

*A friend is defined as someone who joins The Mercantile Exchange using your name as a referral. 
** Maximum coupon value is $20.  Coupon is not valid with any other promotions or discounts.
*** Example: If you referred 6 friends and won the Top Referral Award you would receive a gift certificate worth $60.  In the event of a tie breaker, names will be drawn from a hat.
- Any given individual can only be referred once.  Existing members of The Mercantile Exchange cannot count towards your referral list.

• Visit the shop within 7 days of your birthday and receive 20% off any regularly priced merchandise.
• Identification showing date of birth is required to receive your special discount.

On the first day of the new year, the Years End Exchange Points Drawing awards several prizes to our dedicated customers.  The drawing’s eligibility is based upon entries made through our Exchange Points program.

Prizes:

• (1) $100 Bradford Mercantile Gift Certificate
• (2) 50% off coupons*

* Maximum possible discount $100.
- Entries not drawn for a prize are discarded.

Every month, an item of the shopkeeper’s choosing will be set aside as the Monthly Prize.  All purchases are eligible to be entered into the drawing for the monthly prize.

• 1 entry per visit with purchase of up to $50.*
• 2 entries per visit with purchase of more than $50.*

Drawing is held on the last day of the month.  The winner will be notified by phone.

*Based upon subtotal excluding tax.
- Monthly prizes are displayed at the shop.  A purchase is only eligible for the monthly prize in the month that the purchase is made.

1. Existing customers that are on the shops mailing list are automatically upgraded to membership in The Mercantile Exchange.
2. All members that make a purchase and join the mailing list are eligible.

All members are issued an “Exchange Card” that is kept in a box at the store.  This card tracks Exchange Points and friend referrals.  Members are responsible for retrieving their card from the box in the store and presenting it to the cashier.
