About the shop
Bradford Mercantile is a unique shopping experience nestled in the Cutler Mills district of Warren, RI. Specializing in the decors for primitive and colonial homes, the store is quickly becoming known not only as a one stop shop to redecorate but a perfect place to find a gift. Shop owner Terry prides herself on providing an open and inviting shopping environment. She caters to all and makes sure that there is always something available in any price range. The shop is located in an old barn that was once used to house antique cars. Its unique history lends to some of the most interesting and perhaps peculiar elements of the building's architecture. Enormous steel beams, one time hoisting cars over head, frame the space. A bright red door once used to hoist hay into the loft is perched over the store's sign. The main window is installed where a garage door once stood. Inside the shop you will will find a large variety of items to enhance your home's decor and delight the recipients of gifts you purchase.

About the Shopkeeper

Terry managed the previous Old Glory II shop on Hope Street in Bristol.  When it was closing in March of 2005 she opted not to buy it from her friend, but after about 6 months at home realized she missed the customers, going to the gift shows, and all else associated with running a shop.  (Although now that she has been open almost 6 months she will admit she didn’t miss everything!) She is enjoying making her shop a place you want to come visit, and hopes you will stop by to see her soon.
